Winemaking, for us, is a natural extension of farming. We explore classical expressions of different grape varieties, some well-known like Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon, and some rare like Ribolla Gialla or Refosco. In all cases we try to respect the purity of the variety and the individuality of the site. Our wines are refreshing, complement food, and are moderate in alcohol.
IN-PERSON TASTINGS
We host a limited number of tastings by appointment. Our tastings are approximately 75 minutes in length and include a comprehensive line up of 6-7 wines. The tasting fee will be refunded with each wine club sign up (per couple/household). Each tasting at Matthiasson is for private parties of 6 or less.
NOTE: We are practicing strict safety protocols and a mask is required at the winery while not tasting the wine. All tastings will take place outside.
VIRTUAL TASTINGS
